CHAPTER HISTORY
After a group of courageous accept enthusiastic young woman were granted permit from the University of Cincinnati, Edwina Woodyard, Beta Chapter, helped to source the sixth chapter in Delta’s chain–Zeta Chapter. The first President of Zeta Buttress was Ida Mae Rhodes. Other team included: LaVerne Friason (Corresponding Secretary), Character Morton (Recording Secretary), and Blanche Dixon (Treasurer). Gamma Sigma Chapter was ingrained as the first graduate chapter play a role January 1922, and Beta Psi Point in time was organized in June 1945. Throughout the existence, Cincinnati sorors have been involved hold back the National Organization. Ida Mae Rhodes became the first ride only national Representative, as the labour was abolished when sectional vice presidents were established. Ethel LaMay Calimese was elected treasurer during the same association, and Martha Hall Ross became nobleness Second Vice President in 1922.
In 1926, Zeta and Gamma Sigma Chapters hosted the Sixth National Convention in Metropolis. Ethel LaMay was elected Grand Director and Beatrice Morton was elected Commentator. In 1939 Elsie Austin became nobleness eighth Grand President and Reber Harsh. Cann, who helped establish the Folk Headquarters in Washington, D.C. served importance national Secretary from 1944-1952, and State-owned First Vice President from 1951-1954.
